Another phone call to the princess

We called and spoke to our Yuliya with the help of our friend from Ukraine. Hearing Yuliya and talking to her is always so comforting. She is still the shy, sweet little girl we know. The first thing Yuliya asked us is why we didn't bring her with this year's Save A Child group. (Last year, her friend Inna was able to come over for a second year in a row after the host family helped finance it). We had to explain to her that her orphanage was not used this year. I'm sure this broke her heart. We quickly told her that we are now in the process of gettting the paperwork finally completed and hope to be there in the early summer of next year. Now we need to show her that we mean what we say. We're coming for you, princess!
