On Halloween, Yuliya insisted on being a princess. We found a purple gown, but she was disappointed that it did not go all the way to the ground. So with a little help from Grandma Helga, the dress went all the way to the ground and she was able to go to the ball (hosted by U of U Institute) in all her glory! (thank mom!) Here she is with a couple of her friends from Ukraine. Sadly, the little girl on the left (Alona) is not going to be adopted because of severe separation syndrome that was discovered only after she got here. The little boy on the right is the a little 'ladies man', and flirted with so many of the other girls. He was all of 13yo.
