Still no date (sigh...), but a new picture.

Yesterday we went to lunch with the '07 group. It was wonderful. All Carrie could talk about on the way home was how thankful she is to be associated with so many great moms. It's a reassuring, comforting feeling to be around to those who have or will be adopting. To each of you -- THANK YOU! Tomorrow we'll go to the '08 lunch, where we'll get another dose of amazing people. We're so lucky to be a part of this Save A Child family.

Carrie called Ellie today, who said we should have our date by now, as everyone else in the group that submitted in that time frame does. Ellie is calling V to find out what is going on. It's the middle of the night over there so we probably won't hear anything until morning. To say Carrie is excited is an understatement. She has barely slept all week. Her emotions have been hitting never before seen levels. Now knowing that we are already 'supposed to have a date' doesn't help. No wonder some families have told us to get some sleep-aid pills for the plane trip over. A pill? Ha! We're going to need a tranquilizer dart to make her sleep! :)

Meanwhile, here is another picture of our little angel. The French couple sent it last night and said this was taken in '08 the day after she got into France from Ukraine, which is why she looks so tired. She's going to be a little heart-breaker when she gets here!

She's beautiful! Oh, I can't wait to hear the news. I hope it is good news tomorrow, when I see you at lunch.

Great pictures. It's like the night before Christmas when you are so anxious but you don't know when Christmas is. Hopefully it's today.
